The fragment of expansion
Community / Workshop for the Poor
There are many people that pour into the city to find success in life. So the city has expanded. The more the city expands, the more harm is done to its historical site and its natural surrounding. Many of them, who were the cause of this expansion, find themselves imprisoned by poverty. From this state, they are taught a skill, until they can sell products which they are able to produce themselves. I proposed a space for fulfilling their needs in a minimal modest setting for the poor.

Suwon's Story
Facade renovation
Renovation to revitalize the old center of Suwon
The street from the North Gate to the South Gate is arranged in a row, with the silhouette of the counter-light, presenting itself as the dusk of life. By renovating them, these buildings can present the same time and space and coexistence between the past and the present. In addition, by forming a node and making a setback, the space is enlarged and a curve is set in place to disrupt any monotony in the landscape.
